Not really so new anymore- but most don’t know they exist!
If you are Remodeling, make certain that your contractor adheres to the New Lead Paint Regulations. The new rules apply if you are remodeling more than 6 square feet of your interior, or 20 Square Feet on the exterior. They went into effect in April, 2010, but many licensed contractors are still not familiar with them.
If your contractor ignores these regulations, you may experience problems with Building Inspections, Permit Sign-offs, or when you go to Sell.
